if 2 women and 5 man can do a piece of work in 4 days and 3 women and 6 man can do a piece of work in 3 days. then how many day 1 women and 1 men complete a wok​

let a woman can complete a work in x day

then one woman can do a work in one day =1/x

and a man complete a work in y days

a man can do a piece of work in one day =1/y

and1/y=v

8u+20v=1...........(3)

9u+18v=1...........(4)

and (4)×8

36v=1 and v=1/36 soy=36 day

u=1/18 x=18

so one woman and and one man can do work together =(1/18)+(1/36)=3/36=1/12

so one woman and one man can do a complete work =12 days
