Answer:

X = 3

Step-by-step explanation:

Given three consecutive terms of an AP (arithmetic progressions) are (2x-1) (3x+2)(6x-1)

Their are three terms so the three values are

A = 2x-1

B = 3x+2

C = 6x-1

Using the relation

2b = a+c

2(3x+2) = (2x-1)+(6x-1)

6x+4 = 8x-2 ( sending 6x to right hand side it becomes - 6x and sending - 2 to left hand side it becomes +2)

4+2 = 8x-6x

6 = 2x

Therefore x = 3

Therefore three consecutive terms of an ap are

A = 2x-1 = 2(3)-1 = 6-1 = 5

B = 3x+2 = 3(3)+2 = 9+2 = 11

C = 6x-1 = 6(3)-1 = 18-1 = 17
