We have 2^3 = 8 ,

so , 2^x/8= 16

2^x = 16×8

2^x = 128

2^x = 2^7

so we get x = 7

Answer:

x=7

Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{ {2}^{x} }{ {2}^{3} }  = 16 \\  {2}^{x - 3}  =  {2}^{4}  \\ x - 3 = 4 \\ x = 4 + 3 \\ x = 7
