Hi mate!!!

Square both sides

2 + x + 2 √2√x = 9

x + √2√x = 7

Put √x = t.

x = t²

t² + √2t = 7

t = -√2+√3// 2. or. t = -√2-√30/2

x ={ -√2 +√30/2}². or. x ={ --√2-√30/2}²

x = 2.925

Have a nice day
