Step-by-step explanation:

 \frac{2}{x}  +  \frac{3}{y}  = 6

 \frac{1}{x}  +  \frac{1}{2x}  = 2

Let

 \frac{1}{x}  = p

and

 \frac{1}{y}  = q

Value p and q put in equation above we

get.

2p + 3q = 6

p +  \frac{q}{2}  = 2

p = 2 -  \frac{q}{2}

Value p put in equation above

2 (2 -  \frac{q}{2} ) + 3q = 6

2( \frac{2 - q}{2} ) + 3q = 6

2 - q + 3q = 6

2q = 6  - 2

q =  \frac{4}{2}

q = 2

Value of q put in equation above

p = 2 -  \frac{q}{2}

p = 2 -  \frac{2}{2}

p = 2 - 1

p = 1

 \frac{1}{x}  = p

 \frac{1}{x}  = 1

X = 1

And

 \frac{1}{y}  = q

 \frac{1}{y}  = 2

Y = 1/2
