Given that,1/2x+1/4y+1/4z=4

1/2x+1/4×1/2x+1/4×1/4=4(2x=4y,y=2/4x,y=1/2x)(2x=8z,z=2/8x,z=1/4x)

1/2x+1/8x+1/16x=4

8x+2x+1x/16=4

11x/16=4

11x=4×16

11x=64

x=64/11

Step-by-step explanation:

y =x/2 and z=x/3 put this value in second equation, we get 1/2x + 1/(4*x/2) + 1/(4*x/3)=4 1/2x + 1/2x + 3/4x = 4 by solving this we get, 7 = 16x x = 7/ ...
