multiply this eqn by 4
8/x+20/y=4
Add this eqn to other eqn
8/x+20/y +60/x - 20/y =4+13
8/x + 60/x = 17
68/x = 17
x = 4
put this value of x in eqn 2/x + 5/y = 1
2/4 + 5/y = 1
y=10
10=4k-2i
4k=10+2i
k=(10+2i)/4 = (5+i)/2 Ans
