Answer:2x=sec theta

= x =sec theta/2

Squaring both the sides

= x square = (sec theta/2)whole square

= x square = (sec square theta) /4 _ _ _ 1

=2/x = tan theta

=1/x = tan theta/2

Squaring both the sides

=(1/x) square = ( tan theta/2)square

=1/x square = tan square theta /4 _ _ _2

Now 2(x square - 1/x square)

From 1 and 2

= 2(sec square theta/4 - tan square theta /4)

= 2((sec square theta - tan square theta)/4)

= (sec square theta - tan square theta)/2

(Since sec square theta - tan square theta = 1 )

Therefore 1/2 (Ans)
