Hi friend
--------------
Your answer
--------------------

Given that : - 2x + y = 5 and y - 1 = 0

Now,
---------

y - 1 = 0

=> y = 1 .

Then, using this value of y, we get,
----------------------------------------------------

2x + y = 5

=> 2x + 1 = 5

=> 2x = 5 - 1

=> 2x = 4

=> x = 4/2

=> x = 2

Therefore,
------------------

x = 2 .

Y - 1 = 0 => Y = 1
put this value in equation (1), we get
2X + 1 = 5
