SOLUTION:

2Y - 3/6Y - 5 = 1/3

Cross-multiplying the equation, we get,

3(2Y - 3) = 1(6Y - 5)

6Y - 9 = 6Y - 5

6Y + 6Y = -5 + 9

12Y = 4

Y = 4/12

Y = 1/3

Hence, the required value of Y is 1/3
