Given:

Discount(d) = 20%

Selling Price(SP) = ₹160

To Find:

Marked Price(MP)

Solution:

Using SP formula, we have,

 \sf\orange{\large{\underline{{SP = \bigg(1- \frac{d}{4}\bigg)MP}}}} \\

 \sf\implies \: {SP =  \bigg(1- \frac{20}{100} \bigg)MP}\\

\sf\implies \: {160 =  \bigg( \frac{4}{5} \bigg)MP} \\

\sf\implies \: {160 \times  \bigg( \frac{5}{4} \bigg) = MP} \\

\sf\implies \: { \cancel\frac{800}{4} = MP} \\

\sf\implies \: {200 = MP}

\sf \large{\orange{\underline{\underline{\red{\implies \: {MP = 200}}}}}}
