Given Data:
Mass of calcium carbonate = 200 g
Volume of calcium carbonate = 67 ml
Since, 1 ml = 1 cm³
So,
Volume of calcium carbonate = 67 cm³
We have to find the density of calcium carbonate.
Density of calcium carbonate = ?
Solution:
Since,
Density = Mass / Volume
Density = 200 / 67
Density = 2.98 g/cm³
or density = 3 g/cm³
Which is the required answer.
Hence, the density of calcium carbonate is 3 g/cm³.
Hopefully it's helpful.
Thanks.
