Simple Pendulum is a very small heavy metal bob suspended at a point from a firmly fixed support using a single strand thread so that it oscillates freely. The distance between the point of suspension and centre of bob is called the length of the pendulum.

One oscillation: One complete to and fro motion of the oscillating body is called one oscillation.

Frequency: It is the number of oscillations made by the body in one second.

Time Period: It is the time taken by a body to complete one oscillation.

Hence, the Frequency and Time period are calculated as follows.

Time period = Time taken by the pendulum/Number of oscillations made by the pendulum.

 \frac{10}{200}  =  >  \frac{1}{20}  =  > 0.05 \: seconds

Frequency =1/Period

 \frac{1}{0.05}  =  >  \frac{100}{5}  =  > 20hz

Hence, the Time period and frequency are 0.05 seconds and 20 Hertz respectively.
