for 100 g of caco3⇒ 73 g of hcl is needed

here we have 20 g of caco3 and 20 g of hcl,so the limiting reagent is caco3...so product formed will be according to the amount of caco3,

thus for 100 g of caco3⇒ 44g of co2 will be produced

that is for 1 g of caco3⇒44/100 g of co2

         so 20 g of caco3⇒ 44/100 × 20 of co2 formed

                                          =8.8 g
