Given :

20 g of water st 60 degrees celsius is mixed with 60 g of water at 20 degrees celsius .

To Find :

The resulting solution of the system .

Solution :

Let , final temperature be T .

So , heat released by water = heat gain by water

m_1S(60^o-T)=m_2S(T-20^o)\\\\20(60^o-T)=60(T-20^o)\\\\T=30^o\ C

Therefore , resulting solution of the system is 30^o\ C .
