Solution :-

i) a+b = 21+(-3) = 21-3 = 19.

ii) tn = a+(n-1) d

t5 = 21 +( 5-1) d

t5 = 21 + 4 d

4d = 21-5

4d = 16

d = 16/4

d = 4.
