if 24 shirts are prepared in 54 of cloth how much cloth is required for making one shirt​

Given , 

 No. of shirts = 16 

 total cloth needed to stitch one shirt = 24m

 Let , cloth required for one shirt be (x)

As 

one shirt = total no.of shirts /total cloth

(x) = 16/24

(x) = 2/3

i.e  one shirt requires 2/3 m cloth
