The amount of co2 produced is 8.8g.

Given:

25g of limestone is heated

reaction has an 80% yield

To find:

Amount of Co2 produced

Solution:

for caco3 (100g) → 35.2 g co2

For 25g of CaCo3 → x

x = (25 × 35.2)÷ 100

x = 880 / 100

x = 8.8

Hence, the amount of co2 produced is 8.8g.
