27^x = 9/3^x

Write the expressions in exponential forms...

3^3x = 3^2-x

Now, since the bases are the same, set the exponents equal...

3x= 2-x

Move the variable to LHS and change it's sign...

3x+x = 2

Collect the like terms..

4x=2

Divide both sides of the equation by 4

x= 1/2 [The required solution..]

#Alternative form:-

x= 0.5, x= 2^-1
