If 28 men can do a piece of work in 65 days .How many men will do it in 35 days

INVERSE PROPOTION

Days taken to complete work by 28 men = 65
Days taken to complete work by x men = 35

Now,

28 × 65 = 35 × x
1820=35x
1820/35=x

x= 52

52 men will complete the work in 35 days.

It is a case of inverse proportion...
Let the no. of men to do piece of work in 35 days be x

Therefore :
28 : x
65 : 35

Inverse proportion = x1×Y1 = x2× Y2
= 28×65 = 35x
1820. = 35x
x = 1820/35
x. = 52
Therefore 52 men are required...
