if 280g of washing soda crystals are left in dry air for some time a loss of weight of 162 g occurs. How can you account for this?​

Answer:

when washing soda is left in dry air the crystals of sodium carbonate loses water due to evaporation and turns into white powder because of which their is a loss in it's mass.
