here it is given.....
-------------------------
2a+3b+4c=35 eq1
and 3a+5b+7c=30 eq2

now... multiply eq1 by 2
then we get 4a+6b+8c=79 eq3
✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅

now....
according to the question
-------------------------------------
=> eq3 - eq2
=> (4a+6b+8c=70)-(3a+5b+7c=30)
=> a+b+c= 40

Here's your answer..

Solution:-

2a + 3b + 4c = 35.........(1)
3a + 5b + 7c = 30.......(2)
By subtracting equation (2) from (1),we get:-

 =  > 3a + 5b + 7c = 30 \\  -  \:  \:  \: 2a + 3b + 4c = 35
__________________________
 =  > a + 2b + 3c =  - 5
So,

 =  > a + 2b + 3c =  - 5........(3)
Now,
By substitution equation(3) from (1) ,we get:-

 =  > 2a + 3b + 4c = 35 \\  -  \:  \:  \:   \: a + 2b + 3c =  - 5
___________________________
 =  > a + \:  b \:  + c \:  = 40
Hence,
a+b+b is 40

Hope it helps you...
