2A=3B
A=3B/2

4B=5C
C=4B/5

therefore
A:C
=A/C

3B/2 ×5/4B
= 15/8
A:C=15:8

Answer

Find out the ratio of A : C .

To prove

As given

2A=3B

\frac{A}{B} = \frac{3}{2}

and  4B=5C

\frac{B}{C} = \frac{5}{4}

Multiply both sides \frac{A}{B} = \frac{3}{2} by 5.

we get

\frac{A\times 5}{B} = \frac{3\times 5}{2}

\frac{A}{B} = \frac{3\times 5}{2\times 5}

\frac{A}{B} = \frac{15}{10}

Multiply both sides \frac{B}{C} = \frac{5}{4} by 2.

\frac{B\times 2}{C} = \frac{5\times 2}{4}

\frac{B}{C} = \frac{5\times 2}{4\times 2}

\frac{B}{C} = \frac{10}{8}

Thus

\frac{A}{B} = \frac{15}{10}

and

\frac{B}{C} = \frac{10}{8}

By using the above ratios

we get

\frac{A}{C} =\frac{15}{8}

Therefore

\frac{A}{C} =\frac{15}{8}
