Answer:

The value of k is 2.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given : If 2K+1,6,3K+1 are in A.P.

To find : The value of k?

Solution :

When a,b,c are in A.P.

Then the difference between them are equal,

i.e. b-a=c-b

Let a= 2k+1 , b=6 and c=3k+1

Substitute in above condition,

6 - ( 2k + 1 ) = ( 3k + 1 ) - 6

6 - 2k - 1 = 3k + 1 - 6

-2k + 5 = 3k - 5

-2k - 3k = -5 - 5

-5k =-10

k=2

Therefore, The value of k is 2.
