[ 2p + (1/2p)] = 5

Square on both sides

4p² + (1/4p²) + 2 = 25

4p² + (1/4p²) = 23

Hope this helps !

yogenderdiwakar: why u have taken +2
HermioneWatson: If we expand in the form of (a+b)^2 we will get 4p^2 + 1/4p^2 + (2) (2p) (1/2p). Here 2p and 1/2p will get cancelled. So only two remains.
HermioneWatson: Hope its clear
