What are complementary angles?

Angles whose sum is equal to 90°

Given :-

2p and (p + 15) are complementary

To find :-

The two angles.

Solution :-

2p + p + 15 = 90

3p + 15 = 90

3p = 90 - 15

3p = 75

p = 75/3

p = 25

substituing value of p,

2p = 2(25) = 50

p + 15 = 25 + 15 = 40

~ Therefore two angles are 50° and 40°
