It is given that ,

√2 = 1.414---( 1 )

√32 = √(4×4×2) = 4√2

√50 = √(5 × 5 × 2 ) = 5√2

√128 = √ ( 8×8×2 ) = 8√2

√18 = √ ( 3×3×2 ) = 3√2

Now ,

3/√32 - 2/√50 + 4/√128 - 20/√18

= 3/4√2 - 2/5√2 + 4/8√2 - 20/3√2

= 1/√2 [ 3/4 -2/5 + 4/8-20/3 ]

= 1/√2 [ 3/4 -2/5 + 1/2 - 20/3]

= (√2/√2×√2)[ (45-24+60-400)/60]

=√2/120 [ -319 ]

= ( 1.414 /120)( - 319 )

≈ - 3.75
