let theta =x
we get 2sin²x-cos²x=2
=>-cos²x=2-2sin²x
=>-cos²x=2(1-sin²x)
=>-cos²x=2cos²x
=>3cos²x=0
=>cos²x=0
=>x=2nπ±π/2
