Explanation:

in place of thita i am using a since the symbol for thita cannot be typed.

2sin²A - cosA = 2

2(-cos²A+1) - cosA = 2

-2cos²A +2 -cosA =2

-2cos²A -cosA =0

cosA × (2cosA- 1)= 0

cosA = 0 ; 2cosA-1 = 0

cosA = cos90 ; cosA = 1/2

cosA = cos 90 ; cosA = 60

A= 90 or 60
