If 2sin²θ-cos²θ=2 ,find the value ofθ​

2 {sin}^{2}  \theta \:  -  \ { cos }^{2}  \theta \:  =  \: 2

2 { \sin}^{2}  \theta - (1 -  { \sin }^{2}  \theta) = 2

3 { \sin }^{2}  \theta \:  - 1 = 2

 { \sin }^{2}  \theta \:  = 1

Therefore,

 \sin( \theta)  = 1

so,

 \theta \:  = \  \frac{\pi}{2}
