Answer:

\displaystyle \sf \green{ \frac{2x - 1}{2}  = 3}

Multiply both sides by 2.

\displaystyle \sf \green{2x - 1 = 6}

Move the constant at right hand side and change the sign.

\displaystyle \sf \green{2x = 6 + 1}

\displaystyle \sf \green{2x = 7}

 \green{ \boxed{\displaystyle \sf \green{ \therefore \: x =  \frac{7}{2} }}}
