Answer:

The value of x is 9 .

Step-by-step explanation:

If a,b,c are in A.P. ,

then b-a = c-b (As common differences are equal)

=> b+b = c+a

=> 2b = a+c

Here a = 2x - 1 , b = 2x - 3 , c = x + 4

So, 2(2x - 3) = (2x - 1) + (x + 4)

=> 4x - 6 = 2x - 1 + x + 4

=> 4x - 6 = 3x + 3

=> 4x - 3x = 3 + 6

=> x = 9
