We know that if a,b,c,d are in proportion, then (a/b) = (c/d) (or) ad = bc.

Given 2x - 1, 5x - 6, 6x + 2, 15x - 9.

= > (2x - 1)(15x - 9) = (5x - 6)(6x + 2)

= > 30x^2 - 18x - 15x + 9 = 30x^2 + 10x - 36x - 12

= > -33x + 9 = -26x - 12

= > -33x + 26x = -12 - 9

= > -7x = -21

= > x = 3.

Therefore, the value of x = 3.
