Given :

polynomial :

2x² - 2x + 1 = 0

To Find :

  • sum of zeroes of polynomial

Solution :

In the polynomial 2x² - 2x + 1 = 0,

a = co-efficient of x² = 2

b = co-efficient of x = -2

c = constant term = 1

Sum of zeroes of a polynomial = -b/a

= - (-2) / 2

= 2/2

= 1

Therefore, sum of zeroes of given polynomial = 1
