If 2x=2. 32x – 6 = 36, find the value of x.​

Given:

32x- 6 = 36

and,

2x=2

To find:

The value of x = ?

Solution:

As we know,

32x - 6 = 36

On adding "6" both sides, we get

32x-6+6=36+6

⇒             32x=42

⇒                 x=\frac{42}{32}

⇒                 x=\frac{21}{16}

and,

if 2x=2 then,

x=\frac{2}{2}

x=1

So the value of x is "\frac{21}{16}" and "1".
