Hello !!

Is very simple solve your question. See the resolution below.

FIND THE SOLUTION FOR (X).

2x - 3 = 1

2x = 1 + 3

2x = 4

x = 4/2

x = 2

FIND THE SOLUTION FOR (Y).

3y - 1 = 5

3y = 5 + 1

3y = 6

y = 6/3

y = 2

NOW, FIND x + 2y.

x + 2y = 2 + 2(2) = 2 + 4 = 6.

Final result : 6 is the result.

I hope I have collaborated !

Answer:

2x-3=1 3y-1=5

2x=1+3 3y=5+1

2x=4 3y=6

x=4/2 y=6/3

x=2 y=2

= x+2y

= x=2, y=2

= 2+2(2)

=2+4

=6
