\huge\bold{\gray{\sf{Answer:}}}

Explanation:

2x - 3 = x + 2

=>The given above equation is a monomial as it having highest degree (power) 1.

General Concept

For solving such kind of Question it is to separate like term(like term means having same variable and power ) one side and constant on another to find the value of a variable.

Now ,come to the question:-

we have to take like terms e.g=>2x and x on one side and have to move -3 to R.H.S so that we can find the value of x easily.

 \bold{=  > 2x - x = 2 + 3}

Point to be noted : Here sign gets changed of both say 'x' and 3 while shifting to other side.

Reason: While a value or variable shifts from one side to other its sign gets changed if it's sign is +ve then after moving to other side it gets changed from +ve to -ve.

\bold{x = 5}
