if 2X + 3 Y is equal to 14 and 2 x minus 3 Y is equal to 2 then find the value of x y​

Answer:

2x+3y=14        -(1)

2x-3y=02         -(2)

subtract 2 from 1...we get

6y=12

therefore,y=2

put value of y in 1 ....we get x=4

therefore the value of xy=2*4=8

put x = 4 =>

2x -3y = 2
