GIVEN

2X+3Y=0........(1)

4X-3Y=0..........(2)

FOR FINDING X+Y, WE HAVE TO DO (2) +(1)

4X-3Y=0

2X+3Y=0

----------------

6X=0 (-3Y, +3Y WILL BE CANCELLED)

X=6

FROM (1)

2X+3Y=0

THEREFORE X=6

2(6) +3Y=0

12+3Y=0

3Y=-12

Y=-12/3

Y=-4

FROM THIS....

X=6, Y=-4

X+Y=6+(-4)

=6-4

=2

THEREFORE X+Y=2
