if 2x+3y=12 and 3x-2y=5 then find the value of x and y​

x=3 , y=2

Step-by-step explanation:

2x + 3y = 12 - eq1

3x - 2y = 5 - eq 2

multiply eq 1 with 2 and eq2 with 3 , then , the eqns will be,

4x + 6y =24

9x - 6y = 15

Add both the eqn so that 6y will be cancelled,

we get 13x = 39 i.e. x=3

putting x=3 in eq1 we get y=2
