adding both equation..(1) &(2)

2x+3y=14

2x-3y=2

4x = 16

x = 16/4

x = 4

value of x=4 putting equation (1)

2*4+3y=14

8+3y=14

3y=14-8

3y= 6

y= 6/3

y= 2
