Answer: From second equation, put value of 3^y in first equation i.e.

3^y= 36/2^2x

Therefore, we get

=> 2^x * 36/2^2x =18

=> 2^(-x)=18/36

=> 1/2^x = 1/2

=> 2^x = 2^1

=> x=1

Therefore, the value of x = 1.
