HEYA!!!

Here is your answer :

Given,

2x + 3 y = 24--------(1)

2x - 3y = 12 --------(2)

Solve 1 & 2

2x + 3y = 24
2x - 3y = 12
----------------
4x = 36

x = 36/4

x = 9

Substitute x in eq- 1

2x + 3y = 24

2(9) + 3y = 24

18 + 3y = 24

3y = 24 - 18

3 y = 6

y = 6/3

y = 2

Then, x - y = 9 - 2 = 7

Hey sister !!!

2x +3y = 24 --------(1)

2x- 3y -------(2)

first on adding the equation we get

2x +3y = 24
2x -3y = 12
+ +
-----------------
4x = 36

x = 9

on putting the Value of. x in equation 2

we get

2* 9 - 3y = 12

=> 3y =. 6

y= 2

hence , x -y = 9-2 => 7

hence 7 is answer .

hope it helps :D

thanks
