2x=x+4

x=4

2x+3y=20

2×4+3y=20

8+3y=20

3y=20-8

3y=12

Answer:

if both ( 2x + 3y , 2x ) and ( 20 , x + 4 )

are equal then 2x + 3y = 20 and 2x = x + 4

then 2x = x + 4

x = 4.....

Putting the value of x in 2x + 3y = 20

we get => 2×4 + 3y = 20

=> 3y = 12

=> y = 4......

Hence x = 4 and y = 4
