if 2x + 3y +4=0 & x-5y=11 then x=?​

Answer:

2x+3y=-4 ... 1

x-5y=11 ... 2

multiplying equation 2 by 2we get

2x-10x=22 ... 3

subtracting equation 3 from 1 we get

13y=-26

x=-1

y=-2p

x=11+5y

2x+3y+4=0

2 (11+5y)+3y=-4

22+10y+3y= -4

13y= -4 -22

13y= -26

y= -2

x=11+5y

x=11+5 (-2)
