2x+3y=7 ...(1)
3x+2y=8...(2)

multiplying eqn (1) with 2 and and eqn (2) with 3 we get ,

4x+6x=14
9x+6x=24

subtracting we get,
-5x = -14
x = 2whole 4/5

Therefore putting value of X in any equation you can find the value of y

Given equations,

 2x+3y=7....(1)  \\3x+2y=8 ....(2)

From (1), we have,

y=(7-2x)/3\\now,\\

putting this value of y in (2)

= 3x+2{(7-2x)/3}=8

on simplifying , we get

9x+14-4x=24\\x=2

substituting the value of x in (1)

we get ,

y=(7-2x)/3\\=(7-2*2)/3\\=(7-4)/3\\=3/3\\y=1

hence , the values of x and y are 2 and 1 respectively.
