Here is the answer..

We know that,

Complementary angles measure 90°

Therefore,

According to the question,

[2x - 5°] and [x - 10°] are complementary angles.

 \therefore (2x - 5) +( x - 10) = 90 \\ {}^{} \\ 2x - 5 + x - 10 = 90 \\ \\ 2x + x - 5 - 10 = 90 \\ \\ 3x - 15 = 90 \\ \\<br /><br /> 3x = 90 + 15 \\

x = \frac{105}{3} \\<br /><br /> \texttt{x = 35}

Hence , the value of x is 35°.

I hope my answer helped!!

Ello!

Two angles are said to be complementary when there sum is equal to 90° ( a right angle ).

Here,

(2x - 5) + (x - 10) = 90°

=> 2x - 5 + x - 10 = 90°

=> 3x - 15 =90°

=> 3x = 90 + 15

=> 3x = 105

=> x = 105 / 3

=> x = 35

 \therefore \: x = 35 \: .
