Answer:

C) 3

2x - 6 = 2/x --eq.1

if we take 2 common from L.H.S. of eq.1 then

2(x - 3) =2/x

after cancenlling 2 we get

x -3 = 1/x

so,

x+1/x = 3

Answer:

given \: that \:  \\ 2x - 6 =  \frac{2}{x}  \\ x - 3 =   \frac{1}{x}  \\ x - 1 - 2 =  \frac{1}{x}  \\ x - 1 =  \frac{1}{x}  - 2 \\ x - 1 =  \frac{1 - 2x}{x}  \\ multiplying \: both \: sides \: by \:  \frac{1}{ x}  \\  \frac{x - 1}{x}  =  \frac{1 - 2x}{ {x}^{2} }

this is your answer

hope it helps to you☺️
