solution:-

given:- 2x+7y = 11 and xy = 4

=> 4x^2 + 49y^2

=( 2x )² + (7y)²

= ( 2x + 7y )² .....( 1 )

from given

2x+7y = 11

so,

squaring both sides

( 2x + 7y )² = 11²

4x² + 28xy +49y² = 121

from given

4x² + 28*(4)+49y² = 121

4x² + 49y² + 112 = 121

4x² + 49y² = 121 - 112

4x² + 49y² = 9

i hope it helps you.
