If there in AP, then

x+10 - 2x = 3x+2 -(x+10)

10-x= 2x-8

-x-2x= -8-10

-3x = -18

x= 6

Hope it helps u

since  ,we know the terms in A.P have same common difference.

so we say that,

                                {x+10} - {2x} =  {3x+2} - {x+10}

                                   --x+10=3x+2-x-10

                                    -x+10=2x-8

                                      3x=18

                                        x=6

so the value of x is 6
